Ohio Valley Wrestling presents 'Brews & Bruises' sponsored by Against The Grain Brewery & Dauntless Distributing




Ohio Valley Wrestling is partnering with Against the Grain Brewery and Dauntless Distributing to present OVW Brews and Bruises November 21st indoors at Louisville Slugger Field. The event will feature action packed wrestling, live music and the launch of Poffo Pilsner, a craft beer paying homage to WCW Hall of Famer Angelo Poffo, The Genius Lanny Poffo and WWE Hall of Famer Randy Poffo (better Known as Macho Man Randy Savage). Poffo Pilsner honors the legendary family’s pro wrestling roots in Kentucky. They operated International Championship Wrestling in Lexington in the 70’s and 80’s.

Professional wrestling stars from across the country will travel to Louisville to be part of the Brews and Bruises event. The card features the Danny Davis Invitational, a one night tag team tournament including internationally known tag champions The Wolves, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards and former WWE and ROH tag champions Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin better known as the World’s Greatest Tag Team. OVW will also crown a new women’s champion at Brews and Bruises with a ladies battle Royal. TNA Knockout Rebel and former TNA women’s champion ODB have already signed on to compete. Brew and Bruises will highlight the depth of OVW’s alumni roster and showcase the company’s cutting edge talent of today. More matches will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Brews and Bruises will take place Saturday, November 21, 2015 indoors at Louisville Slugger field, 401 East Main Street, Louisville, KY. A special ticketed meet & greet begins at 5:30pm. The event starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now at

OVW is called the, “Harvard of Pro Wrestling.” As the former developmental training ground for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) notable alumni include John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle and roughly 150 others who went onto appear on the national stage. OVW TV airs in Louisville Saturdays at 11a.m. and 10p.m. on ION affiliate WBNA-TV and Saturdays at noon in Knoxville on FOX affiliate WTNZ-TV.
