Send the Calvary. Sometimes you need a beer to swoop in and defend the Session Tap when Retitled has come to the end of a long run. Skol Island is a unique and wonderous Norwegian-style Session Ale. We used Norwegian Kviek Yeast to impart an orangey tanginess. PilsenWhite Wheat and a touch of Vienna malt set a light and crisp stage for Pacific Gem, whos unique oaky aroma and flavor finish in a peppery, blackberry fruitiness that dove-tails nicely with the yeast character. A very distinct beer to wage territorial battles against ancient lizards to.
